Slightly swollen rear fetlock joint!!!!
Hi,
I have had my 4 1/2yr old TB mare for a month, rode her the other day over a small log, which she popped over but seemed to leave her legs behind as took off early .
Anyway the next morning I saw she had cut herself and had puffy hind fetlock joints. She had scrapped the top of her current and just below and on the fetlock joint on both hind legs. The leg with the scrap on the joint is still abit swollen. Trotted her up tonight and is a bit short on that leg, but not lame. Had bute the next morning and night, just incase. Cold hosed and it seemed to go down.
I am hopping its just a result of her knocking herself the other night.
What's your opinion?
