slipping exercise sheet

i used my new waterproof exercise sheet for the first time today and by the time we got home, it had slipped off her shoulders and bunched up a bit round the girth. It almost looks like it needs something round her chest to keep it in place, but no exercise sheets have this. Any tips on preventing it from moving about please!!!

Is a wrap around one - or one that goes under the saddle??

it goes under the saddle. i put it straight on my pony with saddle pad on top. does that make a difference?

TBH I gave up on those sort, as they always seemed to slip, or ruck up. I prefer the wrap around ones myslef.

hi, thanks. i guess i could sew on a soft strap around her chest to stop it slipping. it cost a fortune so dont want to go and buy another!!!

fold the front corners back up under the girth buckles.

mine has girth loops on but i prefer the above method and don`t use the loops.

I do the same as Cahill but also put it between the numnah and saddle - doesn't seem to move much

I also gave up on the under-saddle ones. Wrap around ones are way way better. I put the wrap bits under the saddle flap (ie. over the girth straps) and do the velcro up in front of the cantle. Never had one slip since.
