Anyone use it?

Made by Haven's Horsefeed in Netherlands.

What do you think of it? I had a sample from Your Horse Live and the horses loved it.

My old boss fed it to the entire yard of a winter and to weedy one 24/7 its fantastic stuff and works wonders, we had one horse with a really bad parrot mouth so was in awful condition put him on slober mash and within a week he was improved, a month later your wouldnt have thought it was the same horse. Only issue i had was trying to making it on a monday morning hangover without puking!

Can see your point after mixing it with water!! Doesn't look very pleasant, but they couldn't eat it quick enough.

I'm thinking of converting all mine over to it this winter. There not skinny, just right, but want quality, not quantity if you get my meaning.

Did you feed it with anything else, like chaff, or just on it's own?

we feed it to all ours, with alfa a and some have mix with it. they all look fab, doesnt make anything sharper. its a fantastic feed great for anything thats prone to colic. not found anything that wont eat it. also love the havens mix

Thanks, i'm going to contact the uk distributor that was at your horse live and see where I can get it from.

If the feeds good enough for the horses at the olympics it's good enough for mine

The whole range is very good . . . . but perhaps we should be buying from good old British feed companies . . . . which is why is switched back.

I agree about supporting british companies, and I used to buy feed from a feed company that made there own and even delivered to you in big feed bins, but the food would soon go mouldy within four weeks of it being used, and i didn't feel the customer service was great either.

Wonkey donkey, If you could recommend a british company that supplies a similar feed to the slobber mash or other products in there range, i will be more than happy to look into buying my feed from them.

Thanks for all your feedback, i contacted the uk distributor and waiting for a pricelist for the feed.
