does anyone else have a horse who suffers from this when on new grass/ when it rains etc?
Whats the best thing to give them? ie pink powder probiotics etc?

My mare got this very bad last year and was diagnosed with a motility disorder - which is a bit different from just usual grass squits. She always presented worse after prolonged wet weather. Now I feed her Fine Fettle Feed Charcoal and it's made a big difference.

I went through quite an extensive list of things to see what would work and found this to have the most consistent results. She's now out 24/7 again and poos are 'normal' almost all the time.

Hope that helps,
TDN

I give my two Baileys Digest Plus when they move onto new grass. It costs about 14 pounds for a 1kg tub, which lasts ages, and starts to work within a couple of days.
