I have a horse who has sloppy poo sometimes. Sometimes when I muck out, I notice his poo is more like cow pat rather than "horse droppings" It's not all the time but he has done a couple today. I had him out on Thursday and they looked completely normal. He can be quite nervy and skitty - today he jumped with all four feet off the ground when my husband came into the yard. It's currently blowing a gale and alternating between heavy rain and hail (oh the joys of Northumberland!) and I wonder if he's worried and that's related? Any advice welcome! I'm not particularly worried because it's only on and off and otherwise he in good shape, I'm just curious. Thanks :)

It may just be he is getting a bit too much lush grass, if he is otherwise looking well.

Other than that does he need worming?

My boy has been the same since the fresh grass came through - however it is worse when he gets nervy or skittish.

I've been giving him some balancer for the last couple of weeks and it seems to be working, possibly try feeding some?

He still does sloppy ones when he gets worked up though!
