Slow market this year?

Just wondering if anyone has found the market rather slow this year for selling? I know a couple people with horses for sale and i'm surprised they havent been snapped up very quick. Mine is also for sale at a reasonable price but I cant say the phone has been red hot.

Has anyone else sold a horse this year and found it took a while? I'm in Aberdeenshire.

I am the opposite. I am looking to buy and can't seem to find the right thing. Saying that though a lot of the adverts I have looked at have been on for months and many have reduced prices so it must be a little slow.

I'd say it's slow yes, but only from the browsing I've done, I've been window shopping for a few months and the same ads keep popping up. My friend recently too a good while to get her lad sold, nothing wrong with him, just very few phoned about him.

I wouldn't say that it is slow at all this year in my experience, and like EmmaC78 know people actively looking who have taken time to find a horse. The OP's location may be an issue though as I have a friend there with a pony for sale who should have sold quickly but hasn't?
