Small black specs along spine? Any ideas please

Hi, i've got a grey and he seems to have a constant supply of little black specs that come out of him along his spine area. If you brush him backward along the spine there seems to be an endless amount come out. I've tried bathing him in insecticidal shampoo but they still keep appearing, i don't think you would see them if he wasn't grey.
Has anybody got any ideas what they could be and how i can get rid of them. Many thanks

It's probably just scurf from his skin tbh. Just like you or I would get dandruff! Maybe try head&shoulders ?

I think you can feed certain stuffs which promote healthy skin/hair too
