Reminds me of the day I left my six year old briefly in the arena on my 15.3 hh WB mare. I was gone all of 30 seconds and returned to find him jumping the grid I had set up for a lesson I had given earlier that day. The last jump was around 3 foot. She was a point at it - I'll jump it mare and I think he had just pointed her towards the grid by accident!

There are some negative comments under the video, miserable buggers! Of course the horse is beautifully schooled but the little lad rides really well. He has nice hands, rides the horse nicely into the corners, looking to see where the jump is, and has a pretty good eye for a stride.

This!
There used to be a description and it said the boy is (hope I remember the age correctly) 7 years old.

well if you were ever going to sell the horse as a genuine school master, that would be the video to sell it with. Boy obviously has a natural ability but still don't like the fact that it looks like he has spurs on,makes me a bit :-S

I do agree it seems odd for him to have spurs on and if it was my child/horse i would not want this, but on closer inspection I think it may be because the horse is so large in comparison to the child's legs, even when he tries to flap his legs he is not making contact with the horse.

Must admit I thought it was very brave of any child to jump that height of jump, I am a bit of a whimp over 1 metre and I am an adult :O)

Also hello and welcome Lizzie,
