Located on the outside at the top of the hind cannon. Too low to be called hock, only about 2cmx2cm, if that and fairly squishy. Horse shows no lameness, what is it please?!!
That was my worry, I'm hoping it isnt- any long term implications in your experience with them? No signs on the other leg and he hasnt been in any sort of work recently so it seems a little odd to me
I have never found them much of a bother. Light work until they settle and everything is usually fine, blister them if any continued trouble. Its worth keeping the pelvis in check, can sometimes cause opposite side to drop. I wouldnt be too worried.
A false curb is conformational, basically the way your horse is made. Some say it can indicate weakness in that area, but wouldnt worry me in the slightest.
