I am after some small haylage bales as my horse wont eat the hay at my yard :( Either in North or West Yorkshire

I have never had to buy my own hay or haylage so don't have any idea where I can get some from.. Any ideas??

Try Hillam Feeds, they sell small ready wrapped equilage in easy to handle bags. Could you could mix some with your yard's hay to encourage horse to eat it (providing that the forage they are providing is of a good quality already and horse is just a bit finicky!!)? It can be very expensive to buy in the small bale stuff per bale; and unless you have storage for pallets of it you may find it hard to go down the route of locally produced small bale haylage. I have found this problem as I have yet to find anywhere that sells it per bale for use on the lorry and I don't need to buy in a pallets worth as we have full heston bales.

i get my small haylage bales from craven country ride have never had a bad one yet!
there £5.40+ i think. and david is very friendly and helpful!

Yes Craven Country bales are very good quality.

Depending upon where you are you can also get them from whittakers animal feeds in Keighley had a few bales from here also all been good quality, slightly larger then craven small bales too.
