Horse has small lump on underside of oesophagus, more noticeable when eating. Doesn’t seem at all concerned by it. Eating normally. Not off colour. No choke. Any idea what this could be beside perhaps something stuck? Waiting for Vet call back.

Is it definitely on the oesophagus? I worked with a horse that had a lump on his trachea - it was just where one of the cartilage rings had formed a bit weirdly. Never caused him any trouble 😊

The oesophagus runs all the way down the inside of the neck to the stomach, where exactly are you talking about?
