Small pink lump on gelding sheath

Hello
A small lump has appeared on my gelding in the past few days. He is 9 years old and has no other lumps. It’s soft to touch and doesn’t seem to bot

I would send pictures to ur vet as mine has melamoas but new lumps appeares on his sheath thankfully is a melamomas but they werw worries more aggressive form of cancer so please spk to vets xxx

Thank you. I have sent pics to my vet and waiting for their response. Have everything crossed it’s nothing agressive

They said hopefully a reaction to a bite given how quickly it has appeared. To monitor it and if it doesn’t go they will do a biopsy ??

My old pony occasionally got pink lumps like that on his sheath from blackfly bites. Eventually the skin pigment returned but a small circular mark was left.
