My horse has been in for a few days due to wet ground so his feet are quite clean for once!!
Went to pick out his feet and noticed a white bit on his sole. Back foot. I couldn't get it out at first and difficult to see as looked like part of his sole but eventually got it out and was a small stone. It was embedded so much it wasn't actually sticking out at all. It has left a hole/indent. It's in the middle of his sole closer to the white line. He is barefoot and has shown no indication of pain or discomfort inc ridden.
So will the hole cover over or should I do something? His feet are fairly soft as it's very wet. How long has it been there?! I'm worried it will get stuff in it!
The hole is very small as was the stone but it's def a hole
