Small update on Tom and really cute pic..

Once again ty for all your support. Three small things yesterday. 1) He let me pick his foot up for a very short time but even then an improvement....2) he walked from the back of his box to the front and this was when his pain meds were due so pretty much worn off....3) he finally got the courage up to lie down he has not done that in a week.... he could not however be bothered to get up to get his food see pic lol....

That is good news - very encouraging! Any slight improvement is great - particularly as the pain relief would have been at a low point. Love the 'breakfast in bed' photo - the bay on the left of my siggy often doesnt get up when I go to put fly repellent on her in the field. I end up squirting her fat body as she lies groaning about the injustices of being woken up lol

The thing I notice in that pic is how outstandingly shiny he looks. He looks like such a lovely horse, I really hope he pulls through for you. My old connie had a really bad attack some years ago, fine in the morning but by 5pm took 2 hours to walk 100yds to his box. It was touch and go for a few days but once he turned the corner he improved bit by bit and with very careful management from me he never had another attack.

And yes, his coat is amazing! Made me feel guilty for not working harder on the Dizzy one....

Really hope he comes sound.

Lol got a leeeeetle bit OTT with the brushing the other day but supoose a little bit of pampering doesnt hurt him! XD
