My 12 year old daughter will be starting to show her border collie when he reaches 6 months , he is classic black and white so i'm thinking of her wearing black trousers and white blouse with either a black waistcoat or jacket,
Is this too much black and white ?
Also where on earth do you find smart clothing for kids cos i have searched the web and found nothing so far, any idea's please .

You want a coloured outfit rather than black & white. Maybe navy, olive, biscuit or burgundy?

Too bright and it can look like you are trying too hard to be noticed but black dog against black trousers can get lost. (& show photographers will mutter at you)

Try ebay

You want something that makes the dog stand out so not necessarily black and white. If I'm showing the Vizslas I were black or another dark colour trousers so they stand out, they're ginger, when I used to show my Auntie's German Wire, I used to wear white trousers as he is dark brown.

Not sure on where you'd find smart, unless it's heavy competition I usually wear jeans or leggings, but then I only did one Junior Handling class.
