Smart Tails question!

I have bought a medium and a fine Smart Tails rake as I have decided to go for the pulled look with my mare

Just a quick question, how far down the dock do you go? I am doing one or two strokes a day, evenly on each side and then bandaging. It's starting to come together nicely, and obviously I started from the top, but not sure how far down I should keep going!

2 stroke a day - thats restrained - No wonder mine looks like its snowing hairs when I do it!

Roughly stop where the 'full length' tail begins - About 2/3'rds depending on bottom conformation - As long as your happy with how it looks - then your heading in the right direction!

I love my tail rakes.... they're excellent for grooming my long haired cat too!
