SMB Ok in the washing machine?

Can you put Sports Medicine Boots in the washing machine? They aren't mine so don't want to ruin them!

There is a handwash option on our washing machine, would that be better? I think its 25c

Boots are generally ok in washing machine, but not tumble dryer.

I did on a cool wash and then dried them on the line. They came up lovely.

Shove mine in the normal 40 wash. Come out just fine. Leave to dry naturaly. Best to wrap them up though before going in!

One of my horses wears SMBs all round for turnout atm and I wash them every day. Well, mostly I hose them off, then put them through the washing machine on a rinse/spin cycle. I wash a set of Equi-chaps with them every day. I put them all in a single duvet cover and knot the top, then in the machine, so the bits of hay and stuff doesn't get stuck round the drum.

The only thing you could find if you put them through on a too intensive wash is the velcro straps on SMBs have a tendency to fray.

yup, when we had a horse on the yard who wore them - whacked them in washing machine & just hung up in yard to dry
