There is no two ways about it, our new girl stinks!! The bed that her foster mum gave us with her was absolutely disgusting the smell of it made me wretch. Its not a pee/poo smell but just a really strong dog smell.
Our old boy always had a slight dog smell but it was never as strong as hers and he was never bathed and only got the occasional squirt of doggie deodorant.
Ive chucked out her old bed and she has a brand new one, I bought some grooming supplies and gave her a nice brush and a squirt with some aromatherapy lavender and mint spray but she still stinks.
I dont want to traumatize her by giving her a bath so soon but I was thinking maybe a dry shampoo or even just sponging her down might help?
Are there any products that are particularly good for a very smelly dog?
Shes going for a check up at the vets this week too so will mention it to them but I do think its just been because shes been crated all day and night in that horrible smelly bed!!!
