Took Orla to do her second PN, and socks to do his first (and a PAVO one)

Socks did a sweet test in pretty smart company, for a mark of 36, which considering he had a few 'moments' i was pleased enough with..
He went Very green on me in the SJing, i had no steering at all, but somehow managed a clear round!!
I ummmm'd and arrrr'd over taking him XC, as i knew he wasn't ready, but i got carried away, so off i went.. steering didn't happen, so i pulled up.. for anyone that knows Smith Lawns, you need good steering!!

Orla.. did what we all thought was a very smart test!! to get a mark of 40, which was pretty upsetting, untill we looked at everyone elses marks, when it then didn't seem so bad.. but what is it with judges marking so harshly at the mo

Onto the SJing, she jumped a sweet round, but had a silly one down..
Then onto the XC, and she was fab!!! The cogs have started turning in Orla's brain, and she's starting to work out what it's all about!! Not sure where she finished up, if anywhere, as we left before results were up.

So all in all, pretty pleased!!

Yes, steering definately needed round there! Good dressage mark though! And well done with Orla, she's the one you've been so rude abnout in the past isn't she?!

Everyone is rude about Orla, if you saw her you'd be rude about her too, bless her, but she does try!! Lucy W calls her "Orla Nothing". haha
She has a pretty good record for a 'useless black yack' which is what someone else calls her.

Well done. That was a fair trip wasn't it? Who were the photographers there? Do they both run at Wikleigh?

Squeaky still out in field, more because there's no room for him, sure it's doing him no harm tho.
