Well after dithering about the show jumping going I turned up and they'd spent 6 hours watering the course and it had rained yesterday so the going was absolutely fine, phew and congrats to the organisers.
Did a good dressage, low thirties, and went double clear but with a few time faults because he's still green. Don't reckon I got placed but am still pleased with him.
Had a slight tumble in the show jumping warm up but only my pride was bruised (and I got covered in dust).
Jolly tired now, hope everyone else who went today had a good time.

Well done a good result. Great to hear the organisers paying such attention to the ground too many still don't put enough effort in.

Thanks. Yes, it's a relief to see events paying attention to the going specially if we're going to have more long hot dry summers. I'll have to write to them and thank them.
