Well not too early a start got up at 6.30 to get him in from the field, bath him and plait up, left at 8.30 took just under 3 hours to get there.

Dressage went fairly well esp considering the mega spook he did at the boards when we first went past them (sideways in canter!) did some lovely canter work and scored 33.3 not a bad score in my section as it was led on 30.5

SJ - this is frankies worst phase as he just doesnt respect the fences, but only had the planks down with the lightest touch so pleased with that

XC - he gave me a great ride, a little hairy at times to try and go as fast as possible which wasnt easy to do on this twist turny track he jumped clear with 15 time faults. had a very sticky moment at fence 14 the water as he jumped in huge and my nose met his neck! a little blood was shed but we kept going regardless.

We managed to scrape into 10th place, our first ever novice place and his and mine 3rd ever novice, so well worth the long day!

Oh I think I must have seen some of your dressage! I was on my way to the xc, looked over and thought "well that'll go in front of me and Lib". He looked so neat and balanced, lovely little horse. Well done.

Excellent result - well done.

Seems like Smiths was a good day for HHO's last yesterday

i was on pretty late about 1.35ish, i was last to go. he is the horse in the first 2 pics below. his trot work was a little tense but his canter work was lovely which made up for the trot!

Thank you

I sure do, Woody got me into them, we bought frankie as a project and he just happened to be coloured but he has def cemented my love for them (and he will never be sold!), Tilla we bought unbroken for her colour and markings (she is on far right and is now for sale :-( ) and baby Nico we hoped would be coloured! Your two are looking as lovely as ever!
