Bee is due to do the PC Open there next week, we have never been, wondering what it i slike? It will be the BE Novice track

Yes it's in Windsor Great park.

Novice is very straight forward at Smiths Lawn and always good/not hard ground (not that thats a worry at the mo!!)

Couple of wide fences, jump through an owl hole but then so did the PN last year. XC warm is very tight and not too good for in experienced horses I dont think and number one is usually about 3 ft away from the start box and quite big (this was the same no 1 for PN and Nov)

Oh and forgot about the water you jump into the edge of a MASSIVE lake!! Over white rails usually then a step into the water then along to the right then a step out.

The second from last fences is usually water to but this is a small water more like a pond and was a big (ish) roll top in then out over a step and a rail I think if my memory serves me right!

Thanks Holly, I wonder if a life raft will be needed for the lake water after all this rain? Do they take it out ever? Willoughs legs are only short! I wonder if she can swim.

Based on this rain you will be swimming across the lake with flippers, snorkel and arm bands

It's very nice there I go there quite a lot, (polo) ground is very good but we have had Rain all day today and heavy at times here in Surrey.
