As some of you know, we've got inlaws springer spaniel staying - (1 week left til they collect). all in all, she's been ok so far. However, noticed her breathing is very harsh. She is a stream train. It is very concerning.
I'm trying to be kind because she isn't used to long walks that I like, and is carrying a little bit of 'podge'. So, I've cut our walks back, also thinking of the heat too. I've been taking her swimming daily down in the nice river. (she needs exercise and I thought this was best as not to stress her joints?)
She still runs madly about, and it's not doing her or my emotional state any good! She sounds very poorly. Broken winded?
Her 'parents' are serious smokers. (we don't smoke). I'm sure this is the main reason. I don't really know where to go from here, any one got any tips or ideas to either carry out now or pass on info to inlaws?
Is there such a thing as a vets report for breathing issues with dogs?
