Smug and very proud, I took my boy XC for the first time today

And he jumped everything so big we may as well have been going round Badders!!

(they were 1"6 -2"3, I didnt know how he was going to react so we started smaaaaallll, he has never jumped XC before)

Hoowever he was so blold and trusted me completely, I love him, and I am a VERY proud mother. He is such a dude.

I owe my horse everything. He owes me nothing.

Now only 1 more part of the ODE to try out, the dressage!

That is great! Jumping the jumps is one thing but for him to trust you so much is just a whole different thing, no wonder you feel so proud!
