snaffle bit Q

was going to buy a french-link eggbutt snaffle yesterday.(searched tack room and had everything but!)
but they only had loose ring ones in.
but
they had a eggbutt snaffle with a lozenge which i nearly bought but thought i would come on here to ask the difference 1st before i purchase.

so,flat link or rounded one?
(oh,forgot to say,it`s for youngsters)

Probably the rounded one for a youngster- its nicer for the tongue to play with and doesnt have quite as much tongue pressue as a straight french link. The isnt a huge world of difference though, i dont think.

My youngster loves the one with the lozenge! Although mine is a loose ring one.

i would definately recommend the lozenge! my boy has never gone so well, he loves it!
