I was going to PM Cayla but she just cannot be relied upon to be here sighs..... so thought I would open it up to everyone :D

Islay, Flick and Amy get on absolutely fine for 99% of the time. Whilst Amy is sensible and never, ever tries it on with Islay (Top Dog!) she will snap at Flick a lot, and today Flick decided to go back at her...

It is never bad, it never gets worse than a few rude words to each other, and it is almost always about who gets to sleep in the favoured spot on the sofa. Is there anything I can do, other than reprimand them as and when it happens?

Apologies to those who thought this might be about something else......:p

If @ny of mine decide to bicker, I plough in there:o @few choice words & @ rolled up m@g@zine/p@per etc soon subdues them:cool: I think with @ group of bitches, there will be the occ@sion@l sp@t, girls will be girls:D

I am her u bint:rolleyes: I think you are the problem missus, she used to let my whippet lie on her back:p
But then bitches can be nouty little feckers, other than make it clear u will not have it and reprimand accordingly there is not alot, but I personally would move them off said spot when it happens, so if one is lying somewhere and the other snaps say cos they are lying, rsting on or beside the other, then move them off or from the area all together. so if they cannot lie somehewere amicably, they can get on the floor.
I dont do the whole, feed one first, and stroke them first blah blah, to make a second in command I personally think u can create bigger issues from this, so best to make a boss, as in you and take no **** in the ranks below.

Just as you thought it was safe to post in AAD..... Cayla is here

Thanks for the replies guys, I think you are right TBH and I need to crack down on this more firmly than I have been doing - I shout, but that is all, I am liking the rolled up newspaper idea and chucking them off wherever they are arguing about :)

I did PMSL at them both today running around the paddock (waist high grass!). Amy then decided to throw herself on the floor and roll around in the wet grass :D

Agree with others. Bitches will be bitches! If mine ever bicker or growl or snap at each other over anything then they get a rollicking and the item is removed and no one has it (for today, It's not permanently removed), mine have been known to squabble over seating/sleeping areas too and as cayla said I chuck them both off, it's the same principle.

Personally (while I'm on confessions from other thread!) my reaction would go like this ''Flick, Amy OFF NOW and f off the pair of you til can be F'in nice, I'm not F'in having it!'' both would get a flick on the bum with the back of my hand too! :o
