Hi,

I thought I would share 2 little tiny videos of my afternoon with my baby spottie Dottie who is nearly 2 now.

When I got to the field she was flat out, fast asleep, she sat up when she saw me but didnt get up, so I sat by her, leaning on her. After a while she wanted to lie down properly so I moved, then used her as a pillow.

She went properly to sleep and was even deaming, it was so lovely, we stayed there for about 20 mins!!!

Heres the proof that she was actually alive!!!!!

Its so nice having that bond with a horse. She slept at my feet when she was about 3 hours old, shes my little egg and its so lovely that she trusts me that much.

Pointless post really but I enjoyed my afternoon!!

Vicki :)

I did that for 2 hours after a night shift saturday with my boy! I laid down in the filed ona rug to shut my eyes! Then i felt this little sniff and he came plonked himself down next to me!! We both laid there snoozing for nearly two hours until the riff raff woke us up (Love the way my frineds are known as riffraff !!!)

It is lovely to have that bond with them! She is a pretty girly!!

Youre brave! I wouldnt do that with any of mine in case they got up. But she looked fast asleep!

She was fast asleep, she was even dreaming!! She wouldnt of got up and squashed me (I think!!)

I dont think I have ever loved one like her :)

Awwww what a cute horse you have.
I do that with Lucy. She always lets me know when she's going to get up. She often does it to get out of working. She lies down and refuses to get up LOL.

Ooo How lovely! I am a little bit jealous that you have video evidence of you're super afternoon! When my sec d was a yearlini she was colicy one night and although seemed to recover very quickly i decided to stay with her for the night so i made myself a rug bed in the corner of her mahoosive stable and settled down, next thing i know She's laid down next to me flat out with her head on my arm looking directly into my eyes! I got a photo on my phone but unfortunately the phone is now defunct! You're right its great to have that bond! :-)
