The last couple of times i have rode my horse, i have notice afterwards he has cloudy snot coming from his nose, only a little bit but enough to notice (if that makes sense)

Is this ok, or should i be worried? He is happy in himself, he does have a few coughs when i start riding him but this is normal for him

Many Thanks

My horse had this a few weeks ago. He has snoted after a lesson but had been coughing for a few weeks. Got the vet out who wanted to do a broncoscopy and in the mean time before they came back they told me to soak all his hay. I did this and after about 5 days he stopped coughing altogether and no snot at all. He has been cough free for about a month now and I have been soaking all hay for a few mins which I think has been the key. I told the vet and they didn't want to come and scope him just told me to carry on. I would properly get the vet out just in case its something more than an allergy to dust in the hay
