my friends horse is coughing whilst in the stable and when working (not worked now due to the coughing) and has been for the last few days.
it started on a hack on sunday, he was coughing alot and had alot of snot coming out his nose and by the end of the ride he had a bit of blood mixed in with it, not much though.
his temp tonight was 37.8, he's perky enough in himself and happily munching his food.
the snot is thick and white/greeny type colour. coming out of both nostrils. is this just a reaction to dust or something else? she was going to speak to a vet tomorrow and see what they say but thought i'd ask on here in the meantime.
