Alright, would like your opinions here. Background:
he's an eventer, last year started getting a runny nose, got him scoped, nothing. antibiotics etc. etc.
Tried both powders and injections (those didn't last long!)
Scoped again and diagnosed enlarged ethmoid. Decided was fine, would cause a runny nose but nothing serious. But said scope every 6months to check.
Problem:He doesn't do needles. At all. Takes a lot to get him injected for vaccines, nevermind anything else and he hates our vets (as had needles to sedate for scope etc)
They are not keen to scope again, but he is getting a runny nose every time he does anything, white discharge down the one nostril.
He has evented 2 weeks, is full of himself, not putting on weight but that's normal.
Question is, should I be getting him scoped? Would you as a potential buyer want him scoped (probably to be sold when I go to uni at the end of this year).
Any suggestions? Thanks.

I wouldn't terrorise him if it's not neccessary! I'd wait until someone is interested in him then get him scoped for their benefit if their vet suggests it. If he has a good season his record will speak for itself.

until then try him on a tub of winergy ventil-ate. its fantastic stuff for clearing up coughs, snotty noses etc. my vet recommended it to me and i overheard Lucinda Green saying at the weekend how it has transformed one of her horses.

they sell it a bit cheaper on tehir stand at Badminton if you are going
