Snotty nose

I'm probably worrying over nothing but for the last 2 morning there has been yellow globs of snot inside and outside of stable he's been ok in himself temperature ok ,eating normally , no cough no one has heard him coughing at the yard and when I get there his nose isn't running has anyone got any ideas of why?

My horse had this. Started out with yellow snot wiped down the stable door, which then became a cough with white snot running out of his nostrils and turned out to be bronchitis.
