Well, I wasn't expecting to wake up to 1 inch of snow thismorning and were in Shropshire... But I don't live on any form of a hill haha!! Horseys are either naked or have a LW on  off to go and give them some hay!

Anyone else not expecting it?!

Good 2" here in derbyshire. Luckily I looked online last night at the local weather and popped out at 9pm to put their big rugs on and bale of hay out. The snow started about 1am when I went to stick my head over the stable door and check up on the in foal mare. The ones outside are toasty and bemused!

Sorry but how did u not no it was coming? Do you not watch the weather? Maybe I'm odd but i check weather atleast twice a day o ensure horses in right rugs or indoors if required. Its been forcast all over!!

Yes of course I knew it was coming, and the horse is therefore adequately rugged, it's just such an extreme contrast to last weeks blissful weather and therefore warrants peoples interest.

Well we live down south, no snow here but I can tell ya that the few times we do get snow it's rarely forecast.
If you have a forecast that's right in your area your a lucky one

Another here in Shropshire with a good inch of snow. Not on a hill either! Feeling very bad as two of mine were shivering in their stables this morning, both with lightweights... they're supposed to be natives!

We have around 3 - 4 inches of snow up in the shropshire hills. very annoyed at the weather people, hunt horses have just lightweights on and had less hay last night because they wernt eating it.

and my boys are naked and only one has a rug on.... stupid bluddy weather
