Snow :D

In worcestershire, we got a little bit but enough to make the roads icy and the houses and trees covered in snow soo no school for me ;) :D :D

:D no college for me as we have to many steep hills to go up and down so we not risking anything.

sadie - wow, i thought everyone has snow :p

sprout - lol, i must admit i do love the snow :D

We have the blasted stuff not going into work, its 50min away and im in village. Still not stopping so not up for getting stuck at work really lol ;) Oh well sledging for me today it is what a hard life.

Oh poop, snow here too :( I've got a big delivery of fabric due today and just hope the delivery company get here.

On the plus side my old mare can go out all day in the field as no chance of eating too much grass :)

At least 18 inches now. Stressing about whether I should buy a rug for foaly but she's still on mum, all are fat and base of ears warm. They seem alot less stressed this year after last year's practice and are certainly not standing by gate. Fed up. GRRRRR

Hardly any here but got call at 7am to say its really bad at work so have closed for the day. Handy as I was about to call in sick due to concussion and a face like a trout!

We had our first bit of snow not much. Have heard its travelling down more so expecting more later. It wasnt enough to not drive to work but am hoping it doesnt snow to much its a bad journey home.

Yep woke up to a couple of inches of snow :) No school closures in Warwickshire yet so I'm at work later :)

Once daughter has done her banking etc we are going to take water over to the field for the horses before I go to work then we will feed them later. Taking camera with me this morning to see if I can get any pics of snowy horses :p :D

i have had snow since Saturday, and now have the best part of 3 foot :(
Its hell , i went to work yesterday as i got a lift but i had to walk the 5 miles home in a blizzard but im off today although tomorrow looks unlikely :(
Im in East Lothian Scotland

i woke up to a little flutter of snow but it's hardly worth talking about! lol

if it's gonna snow then i wish it would just get on with it instead of what it's doing now!

i love it:) its my birthday on thursday so I hope I get the day off then :D:D
and it must be such a pain for people who live far away from their yard.
I only live a 5 minute walk from my yard so I'm relied on a lot to treck my way up to turn horses out and check them and unfreeze the troughs.
But I would stilll rather do this than school! ;)
Also considering taking a camera to get snowy pictures :D

Good grief ! 3 foot of snow !!!
I will stop moaning about my pathetic 4 inches immediately :)

thanks for replies, it amazing how some people have nothing or a little covering then some have 3 foot

I have seen that we have a little amount of snow tonight but more tomorrow night, horses not to imprest :P got lots of cute pics :D

Yesterday i think they were reporting the weather in Newcastle and the snow went up to the reporters hips :O If we had that much snow it would be taller than the mini shetlands :P

I'm Loughborough side of Leicestershire and we have 4 inches so far, even the main roads are awful.

Pah that seems unfair..I'm working in Nottingham and theres barely a few cms!
Live in Donington though and hoping I will get back to a bit more!

Yep south east essex we are well and truly covered, had to walk 1½ miles there and same back to the yard to do the horses this morning as hubby out in the 4 x 4 and my little car said NO :D. Shortly will be leaving again to go back and see to them again, ohh well the joys of owning horses.
