Does anything work to prevent snow balling up in shod feet? My boys are house bound bar a wander in the paddock while I'm mucking out and coming in three inches taller, getting fat and bored of being cooped up now.

Try smearing Petroleum jelly (vaseline) in their hooves it stops the snow attaching and balling up quite so easily.
