has anyone done the Snowball Farm unaffiliated dressage recently? We've not been there for years and are thinking of taking some of the babies over for an outing on 21st January. It says on the website they have some indoor and some outdoor classes. Any idea on the quality of the outdoor arenas? Also, if they are using the outdoor arenas, is there still working in on a surface?

Finally - parking. Is it parking on the mud and grass or is there now enough hard standing?

Thanks!

I haven't been there in over a year but if i can help.....I will!!

The outdoor arenas are really good quality, I can't remember if its just sand or sand a 'rubber' bits (technical!!). If they havent changed it then there is a seperate area for working in (could br wrong!) They have a large arena with a smaller one behind it. I think the parking is still mud and grass

I could be completely wrong here...very sorry if i am

Hi, i haven't done dressage there for a while, im also planning to do it on the 21st
they have a new ish outdoor arena both warm up and comp, it was quite deep but it wasn't to bad if i remember last year.
parking i would thin will still be on grass(mud!?) over the road,

I have judged there. Parking seems to be in the field opposite. Didn't really look at the outdoor surface as judged indoor- the indoor was o.k perhaps a little spooky as it was a bit dark

Thanks for answers so far - few more questions. Is the indoor school the size of an arena, or are the boards set out within the school?

boards are in the school
