Snuggy hoods or something else?

Im considering getting a snuggy hood (the jammie one) but ... a) Do they rub the mane? and b) Are they sized on the small or larger size? ... My mare has quite a short neck and small head with a large shoulder. Her bridle is a cob size with the buckle 2/3 holes from the top and her rugs are 6ft or 6ft3 (6ft3 is a bit long though, 6ft fits perfect). Or is there any other hoods that would do the job?

I was lucky enough to win a snuggy hood in a competiton - the turn out one with the zip and was unsure as to what size to pick so sent snuggy hoods a description of my mare and they sent us one which fits perfectly.

no experience of the jammie one (cant be doing with fleecey things and bedding etc!) but I can certainly vouch that the turnout one is great - invaluable for keeping our white bits clean the day before a comp!

Thats a good idea i could send them an email My mare has white around her neck (we call it a white necklace lol ) so it would be easier to keep her clean and nice and snug. Did you find it rubbed to mane?
