snuggy hoods turnout sizes..

do you find their sizes accurate?
it says on their website that a medium would fit my small arab mare- does anyone have any doubts as i've not seen them in the flesh and would like to know if anyone's been shocked at the sizes as most neck rugs i've found have been bigger than the recommended sizes.

Hi, my boy is 14.2 connemara cross and wears the MEDIUM snuggy hood - their website says he should be medium large! He aint no skinny fellow - just sort of average connemara shape - hope this helps - and by they are marvellous things - he is palomino and boy they keep him clean - just mucky ears and eyelids!!!! FAB for my mud lover !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! xxxxxxxxxxx

They've always been great at sizing when we've phoned them for advice, they haven't got one wrong yet. It might be worth discussing your requirements with them over the phone.

The size I ordered according to their advice was spot on but its a bit baggy round my boys neck so I dont like to use it if he has not got a full neck rug on in case it gets hooked on a tree or something. They can alter them though. I loved mine to pieces until a month ago my horses mane started coming out in great chunks.....he is mane-less half way up his neck. sadly the snuggy hood caused this, I dont know why and i'm back to mud-mud-glorious-mud in vast quantities crusted onto face/ears/mane- yuck!
