I decided to try a hood for my boy to cover up the bit of his neck between bonnet and rug.

However was horrified this morning to find him with an eye full of muck/puss where the hood had rubbed.

Obviously have taken it off and no plans to use it again- has anyone else had this problem?

I toyed with the idea of getting my mucky mare one but have heard so may horror stories not necessarily about snuggy hoods but other makes slipping and causing problems that I decided I would just put up with an orange neck!

I used a Snuggy Hood last year and had absolutely no problems with it - really liked it - my horse seemed really comfortable in it - i think if they are too big that is when they slip and rub.
