are they worth the money.i am contemplating one for our filthy grey mare who is already an unusual shade of green and brown to make this winter a little easier.i know theyre not cheap.are they worth it and are they secure.

hi there a fraind of my has a buisness macking hoods and there really good ive gor 2 for my horse 1 lycra for out side and 1 fleece for in the stable they fit really well and are reasnobly prised its called sd equestrian

I use snuggy hoods overnight before shows on my grey. They're not bad but, tbh, when he lies down in poo the stain doesn't seem any better for the hood. This is the thin lycra one though, so maybe turnout ones would be different.

Certainly the lycra ones have never moved on me, but that's only in a stable.

I use the fleece ones in the winter and are brilliant. One of mine has a dreadful habbit of getting her ear out of one side, but the hood doesn't slip or compromise her. The turnout ones are great too.
