Snuggy turn out hood - sizing?

Any idea on sizing?
Do they come up big or large? Considering getting one for my big pony (17hh ISH) but he is pretty well developed for a 4yo, so sizing is between L and XL - anyone any idea?

think i would go for the xl i have both sizes for my 16 hands mare and the large is snug.

my 17hh had ML, so L is good enough i would assume, i like them snug!
