Snuggy Turnout Hood use in summer for sweet itch?

no the turnout one would def be too hot in the summer trust me!! (its really thick lyrca like stuff doubled up!)

had it on my boy when it was about 14degrees and he sweated up under it a bit (and hes not a very hot horse)

also the fact the sweetitch hood is white makes ALOT of difference (white reflects sunlight where as dark colours trap it....... and make you hotter)

Did it slip???

I got mine the other day but want to sew ears onto it before it gets muddy!! Hood not Horse, but no time yet.

Merlins looks a bit on the loose side but the M/L was too tight!!

mine is a bit loose round the old neck on my boy but doesnt budge

he does LOTS of rolling in it too..... have always found eyes and ear holes in the rite places

Yeah, mines a bit loose as well which I wasnt sure was correct but it hasnt budged at all! So am very pleased with it. My only little annoyance is that I expected it to keep my neds mane flat on one side but actually (because its a bit loose) it seems to rub it in crazy directions so he ends up with an afro.....!!!
