so facebook tells me, I even crossed my fingers for a sounder pony apparently. So, proof that finger crossing works I reckon :D

This was last summer and we spent the winter hunting again, told the secretary will see how he feels in 6 months time as now 23 :p Every time my bhs fellow instructor comes he forgets that he is old enough to know better too. Just waiting for our first ever abscess hole (flinted it last day of hunting so good timing ;) ) to grow out so can get the boots off again :).
Certainly didn't think I would be doing my own trimming back then either.

so yup, ^^ that is why I suggest it to other people with soundness issues :D

It's mostly the only jolly he gets these days as it is the only thing we can hack to as I left the transport at Mum's when I moved him to wilts. Mum has since sold the trailer and has a fiesta!

Frank looks great, and you're such an old lady in the bf world, 4 years?! Thats practically inventing it :p

I'm still fumbling around in the dark most days. He certainly doesn't look 23 either - I hope we can look that good in 7 years time, I really hope bf will fix our issues (even though I managed to create the latest one whilst bf d'oh! :o )

Although you saying about the abscess reminds me I should probably buy some of those red horse products to stuff the white line holes norman currently has, I don't want him thinking up another excuse to be lame!

If you use the hoof stuff it doesn't matter if you forget you have it on your fingers while eating your breakfast because it tastes of honey. :p

I do have some historical posts on here along the lines of OMG why wouldn't you have a farrier do your horse
ermm ;)

Ah, that happens to us all, once you're above a certain post count you can discount the old ones as complete nonsense.
