I ordered a bridle (and other stuff like stirrup leathers) off them late January, and it wasn't exactly inexpensive, as was one of the only places that did the colour I wanted to match my saddle, and I spent a long time on the phone with them checking that they definitely could do everything that I wanted as I wanted a few things custom made (like stirrup leathers a few inches shorter than they usually make them) and they assured me that this could all be done no problem and I'd have my bridle in 8 weeks.
So 8 weeks arrived, and no bride, so phoned them up to ask about it, and they said they were running a bit late, only had one more thing to make, would be a couple more weeks, and I had to phone them numerous more times to find out what was happening, only to get the same response.
So today, a good 12 weeks after it should have arrived, I got a call from them, simply telling me that they were no longer making my bridle so they'd be refunding me my money.
Has anyone else had this kind of problem with Stubben or is it just me?
On a happier note, I'm really impressed with Derby House!
I ordered some Sabre boots from their outlet (half price, whoop) and the delivery is free all of June! They told me they should arrive between 2 and 9 working days, got the first pair the day after I ordered them, and the other pair the day after that! Was really impressed with this! If only Stubben were the same...
