Picked Aleeta up yesterday from her fortnight at school. Had a lesson with her before I took her home and although came away chuffed to bits with her progress was also feeling a little unsure if I would be able to carry on with all the work she had learnt.

Whilst away she has learnt to respect us humans and that was one of my biggest issues with her. She has then learnt to lead properly (although this was well established before she went) she has learnt to lunge (only in a large circle) and also long rein. I found the long reining really hard, I have driven before but on a green wobbly youngster its really different! She loaded prefectly and travelled home well.

Took her in the school today for a play and to try and implement some of what I learnt yesterday and she was a star!!! It all went as planned no rearing bolting or napping. My long reining was not good and I do feel sorry for her as I am teaching her and me at the same time

.

All in all though I am chuffed to bits with her 2 weeks away and am so pleased I have done it. She has no issues with her stable now and is quite calm when all the horses are turned out and she isn't!!

I'm one happy mummy!!
