So, so cross am close spontanious combustion!
One of the girls that has her horse in one of my fields has been on holiday for the last two weeks. She got back this Monday just gone, but neglected to come and see her neddy until Thursday, stayed 10 mins and bu**ered off again.

Obviously while she has been away I have seen to her ned's feed, water, groomed and exercised her.
She spent the day yesterday watching me do yard chores, and yet just sat on her behind, not offering to help or anything close.

As she leaves yesterday, she informs me she will be late today, as she has to taxi her daughter to various locations.
I have just had a text to say that her and daughter are off to the gym, and HOPES to be down later.

Er who the hell does she think is going to feed, and water her horse.....oh yeah, that muppet would be me!
Like thats not enough, my youngest daughter has fallen in her dogs cr*p thats not been picked up, so we have had to come home so she can have a bath and change her clothes (there is no smiley i can to get this one close!)
Had enough, am serving her notice, have tried talking to her, but it's just not sinking in, and my temper is starting to get the better of me.
There rant over......i feel slightly better now!

PMSL!!!! Trouble is SU is that she didnt!
The smiley you are looking for is going to be along the lines of me posting the kids trousers, and the remander of the sh*t through her letterbox!!!

Are you the yard manager/owner? and does she pay you to care for her horse? if not then i would say you re well within your right to say look after it yourself. If you are the yard manager nd offer these services she is taking advantage and poss needs a strong talking too as to how reasonable it is unless it is an emergency. the dog pooh is NOT excusable though and is bad dog ownership and disgusting.

Good for you, some people need a wake up call, maybe she will think twice before taking advantage at the next yard.

To avoid it happening again with other people would it make sense to have a clause in the livery agreement providing that when the livery neglects horse so that you have to step and do it for her there is a charge of, say, £10 per hour for your labour? Also put in place a system of fines for anyone who leaves their dog poop unscooped for over 10 mins? Not sure if that is practical and am wondering if I was a fascist in a previous life

but it might stop you being exploited

That is really taking the micky, it is give and take, would she be as caring as you are and lokk after your neds when you goaway, I think not.
