I sold my mare 2 years ago due to buying a house (couldnt afford both) and had been riding a friends horse. I had a baby in March this year and whilst i was pregnant my friend sold her horse so now i am completly horseless.
Does anyone know where i can advertise as a rider? I dont want any money for it, i just want to be able to help someone out and get back into riding, as i am on maternity leave i can do during the week which i know is when some people struggle to find time to ride due to working full time.

Any ideas would be much appreciated :-)
 
Local tack shops. Riding clubs. HH mag. Word of mouth. Livery yards.

Put what level you were riding to, but bear in mind that you've been out of it for a little while.

Are you willing to do stable duties?

Can you lunge/long-rein/use a Pessoa, etc.?

Willing to clean tack, etc.?

You'll need insurance and be willing to show it. Most horse owners have their own, but would need to check the small print for a regular rider I think.

I might be looking in a little while, but given my horses particular quirks I'm going to be a pain in the butt when I do get round to it (I'll have to be for everyone's safety, inlcuding the horses).

I am willing to do stable duties etc as this is something i miss.

I am hoping to start helping out at a dressage yard soon but thats only a saturday, i want something during the week.

Quite possibly. Friend of mine has own farm and 3 horses (+ 6month old colt)
Indoor and outdoor areana as used to be an EC (not anymore).
She is looking fior someone to help out with one or two of the horses (15.2 and 16.3). No financial contibution but help with stable duties. Pretty much unlimited riding.

Put your number/details up in areas you would travel to and i'm sure with winter coming up you will have plenty of offers.
