And it is indeed a slippery slope!

Shes brilliant in the sadle was trotting by the end and then rode the pony back to the yard in and out of cones up and over the little hill by herself. so second lesson is booked in for next week!


Oh and i'm riding on Tuesday!!

Ah, this isn't a slippery slope it's a slippery mountain! 20 years ago, my 5 year old sat on a donkey and loved it! Fast forward to the present past numerous ponies, eventers, pony club, trailer, big lorry, bigger lorry, houses sold, stables and acreage bought, daughter is away training as a doctor but I have horses and all the gubbins that go with it. (I only started riding because I got fed up of walking beside her on hacks) Poor OH never quite knew what hit him and yes, he's a dab hand at mucking out and getting in. You have been warned but it's been such fun.
