So excited if i go i might meet a Ardenne or Dutch Draft!!

Looks fantastic. I'm in the process of training my previously ridden Clydesdale to log. Harness arrived yesterday and we had great fun trying to remember how to fit it all today!

Sounds an ingteresting thing. Not sure if you saw it but they did a piece on Countryfile not long ago where a lady with an Ardenne was logging.

I have a 7 yo Belgium Draught (Brabant) cross and would be interested in seeing them do some of their original work. I think for the Brabant's it was more ploughing and some fishing in the coastal area.

However, this is the Big Grl's idea of logging. I think it'd be a total disaster if we tried to get her to do what she was bred for!

I missed the countryfile thing, i shall have to your tube it. Yes i have seen pics of the fishing work. Your girl is gorgeous, i am love with draft breeds :D

Never tried logging, but I have seen a lady in Southampton doing some tree work with her heavies.

I have a Dutch Draught called Rosie. I would love to drive her, but yet to find a harness to fit! If you are ever in my area you are very welcome to come and have a cuddle!
