So excited!!!!!!!!!!!

To all the nosey so and so's (Joking, I'd want to know too!)

Its his ex. Its a weird situation that ended up with them becoming just friends and ending their relation but staying best mates, myself and OH got together and then me getting his ex into horses and her having one on the same yard as me!

OH and I have been together years and she has always been around, then she gets a new man, drifts away, they split, she comes back etc. Happened many times over the years! I see her every day at the yard but OH and her have drifted apart again as she has a new man... She didnt take it well when we bought a house a couple of years ago, so we had to tell her before making it public. We are all grown ups and it was very annoying! She has now been told by OH but she didnt text me for hours and hours but did eventually to congratulate me and ask me if I had a shiny rock. Not heard from her since and she's avoided me the last 2 nights at the yard!

By a completely different twist of fate I am moving yards this weekend (bit sudden and only decided today) and she isnt following me this time as shes moving her horse somewhere closer to her boyfriends house. 3 days into the new year and its all a changing!

Anyway, thanks everyone. I'm shiny rock shopping this weekend and cannot wait! xx
 
Congratulations! Pictures of said rock as soon as its on your finger please! Think it's good that you're moving away from the ex, doesn't sound like a good set up!
 
Oh wow!!! Exciting! We need photos of ring, your dress and wedding venue etc. I wish I could marry my husband again. I loved it :)

Very exciting times ahead for you with new yard and a BIG wedding to organise (mine was quite small but I loved it). I am on a mission to get one of my friends excited for her wedding next December we are taking her dress shopping in early Feb and she will be excited or else lol.

Think the women in the jewellery shop thought I was mad as I declined anything bigger and spent ages going through different yard scenario's and if the ring was suitable!

I got engaged at midnight on new years eve too!! Your ring is beautiful. My oh proposed when we were in London just as the fireworks began! I burst into tears, do unexpected but so exciting!

Amazing! Congratulations!

I'd always dreamed of what it might be like, but OH has always said he didnt see the point the of marriage, so it was a massive shock. I was shaking so much I couldn't hold my drink! His family where there too so it made even more special. He's even said we can have an engagement party and he HATES attention :) So exciting! xx
