I have met a lovely lady this morning that is going to start helping me get my boy ready for backing next year.

I'm extra excited as I had an instructor out last week to help me, who just made me feel really rubbish, she tried to push him to hard and he was so confused he ended up trying to throw himself on the floor to make it stop! then she proceed to make his face bleed and tired to tell me it was okay and it would make him learn to stand still :/

but this new lady is more like me, she rewarded him when he done what she'd asked him to do and after only 5-10 mins I could really see him becoming more confident with her! so very happy

Oh my god! Your poor horse! :(
Really glad you have a lady to help who is doing things at your horses pace :)
